Grey Light Productions is dedicated to making and producing new work for the stage.

In an artistic community that largely supports a director-led bias in new work, Grey Light aims to offer an alternative by encouraging and creating theatre that promotes collaboration between writer and director.

Grey Light is currently in residence at the Corn Exchange, Newbury, where we are developing a new production by American writer Matthew Freeman.

Since being formed in 2006, Grey Light has presented work at the Finborough Theatre, Kings Head Theatre and Greenwich Playhouse among others. We are committed to working in supportive environments and fostering creative relationships with writers and actors, and in 2007 partnered with the New York Metropolitan Playhouse for an American-writers project later supported by Old Vic New Voices.
